  1. February 16th update now missing notifications

Since the update on 2/16, I have not received any notifications. If I disable Calendar Snooze in settings, or uninstall it, notifications work correctly. Looking at the support site, I do see the article on the Android calendar bug, but I've been using this app for years without issue, on both Android 6 and now 7. Is there a setting that can be tweaked to revert to the pre-3.0.41 mode?

  2. Notifications stopped firing

I have been using the paid version for years with Business Calendar. Recently, the notifications stopped firing. I have tried setting the Business Calendar Reminder Mode to both "off" and "on" and neither makes a difference. I have been running Android 7.0 for months, so that does not appear to be the problem. I have tried adding events with reminders directly in the calendar app and also through my Google calendar on my desktop and then syncing it.

  3. No longer works, since last update.

Has not worked even once since I installed the latest version, 3.0.41, several days ago. In spite of Google Calendar successfully firing the reminder on 10 or so events since then, Calendar Snooze has not fired even once during that time.

Also, on another note, Calendar Snooze always crashes, every time, when the device is in landscape mode when it fires an alert. This has been the case for well over a year.

Otherwise, overall, Calendar Snooze has been an excellent app over the years.

  5. 3.0.41 version not working

I noticed that 3.0.41 version is not working properly so I decided to come back to 3.0.4 that was really good.

  7. Bug while editing a snoozed event

An event fires then is snoozed for 1 hour using a pre-programmed 1 hour button. The event is edited ,via google calendar, to change the event time to be a few days away. The original event still shows as being snoozed and fires a reminder from the ORIGINAL event time. Past versions of this app used to display a message something like, " original event changed, cancelling snoozed event". FYI, when the original snoozed event fires and you edit the event from the app reminder, the edited event shows the new event time/date.
    I am a beta tester but this…

    Hi,

This is not a bug. When you snooze an alert for 5 minutes, it will fire 5 minutes later, even if you edit the event. This is how Calendar Snooze works, and how it has always worked.

However, when you edit the Calendar Event from the Calendar Snooze snoozed reminders screen, you get the option to remove the snoozed reminder. This won’t happen if you edit the event in the google calendar.

  8. Force closing app

Dear all, for the past days the app keeps getting force closed by my phone galaxy note 8. Is this a bug and how can I fix it?

  9. BUG - Issue with Edit button

When a calendar event fires and Calendar Snooze pops up, if I click on the edit button it actually opens a new event (with the Event Title section blank) instead of modifying the current event. The snooze features work fine but if I want to edit the event I have to dismiss it then re-open it. Very inconvenient because I use that feature often. I think this problem is being caused by the new OS (Oreo 8.1) that came with my new phone because I never had this trouble with my old phone & old OS. My old phone had…

    Hi,

This is a bug in some Calendar apps. When we send a message to the calendar app to edit the event, some calendar apps remove the title.

You can work around this by enabling the ‘use View Action Instead’ setting, which you can find under Settings → UI Settings. This will send a message to view the event instead of edit, so you will also have to press the edit button in the calendar event.

  10. Keeps crashing

    Hi,

Judging by the exception posted in the comments, the problem seems to be that the Notification Tone is of an outdated type. Please try choosing the same tone again, or try another one.

  12. Invasive permissions

I’ve been a paid user of Calendar Snooze for years. After upgrading to a new phone, and installing the app on the new phone, Calendar Snooze thinks it’s entitled to have access to permissions above and beyond access to my calendar. WHY???? I can’t tell you what permissions it wants, since the “ok” button on the “missing Permissions” screen does nothing – the only way to get rid of that screen is to kill the application. I’d rather uninstall the application that give it carte blance to access anything beyond my calendar. It’s being too d*mn invasive of my personal…

    Hi,

Calendar Snooze already required this permission since the first version. Calendar Snooze can’t function without this permissions.

As you can read in our privacy statement, all data that is used is not visible to anyone, not even to the developers. All data stays offline and will be deleted from the application’s memory after it is used.

If you don’t want Calendar Snooze to have access to your calendar data, you can just uninstall the application.

  13. are you guys supporting this application anymore?

this was an amazing application. starting at android 7.0, random reminders would be missed which is extremely problematic. someone in development sent me a note last year (dec 2016) that you were working on a solution but so far nothing has been done. if you guys are going stop supporting the application you should open source it. put it on github and let the open source community fix it....

  14. Alarm text not displayed properly

I am still getting only the first one, two or three characters of the alarm title showing, so I cannot see which alarm is going off. I know others have had this problem also, and it has persisted through a couple of releases (I am on the Beta version).

  15. Stopped working

After years of using, my Calendar Snooze just stopped working. No reminders anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Yet, that didn't help. What do I do now? Nothing out there can replace Calendar Snooze!

    Hi,

I haven’t been able to reproduce this on any of our test devices. If you are still experiencing this problem, please contact me directly (ticket or email), so that we can find out where the problem comes from.

  17. less intrusive notifications, if possible...

When the notifications pop up, they fill the whole screen, blocking whatever you were in the middle of doing.

Is there any way for your app to notice if the screen or an app is currently being used, so that it doesn't overlay the screen and interfere? (For example, if someone was trying to call 911, and a bunch of notification started popping up, their phone would be blocked from access to calling 911 for many MINUTES as the screen was blocked, and their memory was plugged up preventing them from quickly getting access to the dialer.)

    For examples:
